Discerning The True 7th Day Sabbath of Yeshua!
PART 14
1400 Years Later!
Let’s take this one step further and fast-forward 1400 years to the crucifixion of Messiah Yeshua, the true Passover Lamb of The Father!
Yeshua draws His last breath saying, “It is finished,” at the very time the Passover Lambs were to be slaughtered in the Temple, ‘between the evenings’, i.e. in the middle of the afternoon on the 14th Day of the 1st Month. It was the Preparation Day.
And it was the Preparation Day of the Passover week, and about the sixth hour. And he said to the Yehudim, “See your Sovereign!” (John 19:14 Scriptures ’98)
Therefore, since it was the Preparation Day, that the bodies should not remain on the stake on the Sabbath – for that Sabbath was a high one – the Yehudim asked Pilate to have their legs broken, and that they be taken away. (John 19:31 Scriptures ’98)
Yeshua fulfills His role as the Passover Lamb of The Father on the 14th Day of the 1st Month, dying at the same time the lambs were to have been offered in the Temple. The Jews didn’t want His body hanging on the cross until the next day because that Sabbath was a High Sabbath, the 15th Day of the 1st Month, the 1st Day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread.
Therefore, Yeshua already being dead, was taken down and placed in the tomb where His body was prepared for burial throughout the night by the women who ended their work just before the Sabbath dawned at sunrise the next morning.
It was now the day of the preparation and the Sabbath was beginning to dawn… (Luke 23:54 Phillips)
Yeshua rested during the 7th Day Sabbath in the tomb and then resurrected on the 1st Day of the Week, i.e. the 16th Day of the 1st Month which is the day when the First Fruits of the barley is to be offered to YHWH. Yeshua fulfills this Wave Sheaf offering by resurrecting from the tomb and presenting Himself to The Father in the Temple in Heaven!
Here again, in the ultimate confirmation of His true calendar, Yeshua proves beyond all doubt the 14th Day of the 1st Month is the Preparation Day, the 6th Day of the Week, and the 15th Day of the 1st Month is the weekly 7th Day Sabbath and High Sabbath of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, and the 16th Day of the 1st Month is the Wave Sheaf offering, the 1st Day of the Week.
With the 15th Day of the Month once again proven to be the weekly Sabbath any open minded person will have to confess the 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th Days of the Month were the Sabbaths at the time of the crucifixion of Messiah Yeshua just as they were at the time of Moses and Joshua!
At this point, proof of the Lunar Sabbath has become overwhelmingly self-evident!
