THE MASTER’S CLOCK!

Discerning The True 7th Day Sabbath of Yeshua!

PART 13

Forty Years Later!

Just as the beginning of the Manna marks the Lunar Sabbaths on the 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th Day of every Month so does the end of the Manna 40 years later!

To begin, Joshua and Israel crossed over the Jordan River on the 10th Day of the 1st Month.

And it came to be, when the priests who bore the ark of the covenant of YHWH had come from the midst of the Yarden, and the soles of the priests’ feet touched the dry land, that the waters of the Yarden returned to their place and flowed over all its banks as before. And the people came up from the Yarden on the tenth day of the first month, and they camped in Gilgal on the east border of Yeriho. (Joshua 4:18-19 Scriptures ’98)

If Joshua and Israel crossed the Jordan River on the 10th Day of the 1st Month then YHWH had first spoken of this crossing to Joshua in Joshua 1:1-9 on the 1st Sabbath of the 1st Month, i.e. the 8th Day of the 1st Month. On that Sabbath day Joshua then commands his people to prepare...

And Yehoshua commanded the officers of the people, saying,

“Pass through the midst of the camp and command the people, saying, ‘Prepare food for yourselves, for within three days you are passing over this Yarden, to go in to possess the land which YHWH your Elohim is giving you to possess.’” (Joshua 1:11 Scriptures ’98)

Counting the 8th Day inclusively the three days would be the 8th, 9th and 10th!

Why is this so interesting?

It is interesting because on this Sabbath day Joshua immediately sends two spies into Jericho.

And Yehoshua son of Nun secretly sent out two men from Shittim to spy, saying, “Go, see the land, and Yeriho.” And they went, and came to the house of a woman, a whore, and her name was Rahab, and they lay down there. But it was reported to the sovereign of Yeriho, saying, “See, men from the children of Yisra’el have come here tonight to search out the land.” (Joshua 2:1-2 Scriptures ’98)

When Rahab was confronted about the men she responded with this lie...

But the woman had taken the two men and hid them. So she said, "The men came to me, but I did not know where they were from.

Then it came to be as the gate was being shut, when it was dark, that the men went out, I do not know where the men went. Pursue them quickly, so that you overtake them.” (Joshua 2:5 Scriptures ’98)

Did you catch it? It looks very much like Joshua waited for the set-apart daylight hours of the Sabbath to end at sunset before sending in the two spies! Joshua followed the very pattern and protocol that YHWH had set when He delivered Israel from Egypt to Mount Sinai! Once again, the issue of the set-apart hours of the Sabbath is documented and established! But let’s get back to the main point here.

Rahab then tells the two Israelite spies to flee to the mountains to avoid their pursuers for three days, she lets them down through her window and they flee to the mountains just as Rahab had told them to do, which brings us once again to the 10th Day of the 1st Month when they return to the camp of Israel which has prepared to cross the Jordan that very day.

Then the two men returned and came down from the mountain, and passed over, And they came to Yehoshua son of Nun, and related to him all that had befallen them. (Joshua 2:23 TS2009)

Once Israel has crossed the Jordan river Joshua immediately begins to prepare to keep the Passover for the first time in forty years by having all the males circumcised.

At that time YHWH said to Yehoshua, “Make knives of flint for yourself, and circumcise the sons of Yisra’el again the second time.” So Yehoshua made knives of flint for himself, and circumcised the sons of Yisra’el at the Hill of Foreskins. (Joshua 5:2-3 Scriptures ’98)

And Yehoshua circumcised their sons whom He raised up in their place; for they were uncircumcised, because they had not been circumcised on the way. And it came to be, when they had completed circumcising all the nation, that they stayed in their places in the camp till they were healed. And YHWH said to Yehoshua, “Today I have rolled away the reproach of Mitsrayim from you.” So the name of the place is called Gilgal to this day. And the children of Yisra’el camped in Gilgal, and performed the Passover on the fourteenth day of the month at evening on the desert plains of Yeriho. (Joshua 5:7-10 Scriptures ’98)

So they’ve performed the Passover for the first time in forty years and for the first time in the Promised Land. Where did they get the grain to make their unleavened bread? We’re told they were to store food to take with them before they crossed over the Jordan River in chapter 1 verse 11, so clearly they brought the grain they needed for their unleavened bread for the Passover with them from beyond the Jordan River.

The Passover is the 14th Day of the 1st Month; it is the Preparation Day and always falls on the 6th Day of the Week. It was the very last day that the Manna was provided, of course it was a double portion. But would they have eaten it once the Passover meal was eaten? I doubt it, my understanding of the Feast of Unleavened Bread is that we are commanded to eat unleavened bread and no other food, not even manna!

Then we read…

And they ate of the stored grain of the land on the morrow after the Passover, unleavened bread and roasted grain on this same day. (Joshua 5:11 Scriptures ’98)

On the day after the Passover, i.e. the 15th Day and therefore the weekly 7th Day Sabbath and High Sabbath of the Feast of Unleavened Bread Israel ate stored grain from the Promised Land, which they could then continue to use to make their unleavened bread thereafter. Then we’re told…

And the manna ceased on the day after they had eaten the stored grain of the landAnd the children of Yisra’el no longer had manna, but they ate the food of the land of Kena`an that year. (Joshua 5:12 Scriptures ’98)

Israel ate of the stored grain on the 15th Day of the 1st Month and then on the very next day when they would have expected the Manna to begin to fall again, i.e. the 16th Day and the 1st Day of the week, no Manna fell. On the day ‘after’ the 7th Day Sabbath on the 15th Day of the 1st Month the Manna ceased!

Forty years after YHWH reestablished His calendar via the giving of the Manna we see that the 14th, 15th and 16th Days of the Month are still consistently falling on the 6th, 7th and 1st Days of the week respectively. If the 15th Day is the 7th Day Sabbath, as is unequivocally proven, then the Sabbaths of the 1st Month, 40 years after the Manna began to fall, are still falling on the 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th Days of the Month!

This has been Part 13 of the 17 Part series titled THE MASTER'S CLOCK! It is my sincere hope and prayer that in reading this series you'll be blessed with the revelation of Time According to the Author of Time! May your eyes be opened to The Creator's Cosmological Calendar!
