Chag HaMatzot, 7th Day Sameach! Happy Feast of Unleavened Bread, 7th Day!

It's just after 7 A.M., the 18th of April and the Sun has just risen above the Eastern Horizon, the 21st Day of the 1st New Moon of Scripture has begun, it is also the 7th Day of The Feast of Unleavened Bread. On this day thirty five hundred years ago Moses and the Israelites were gathered on the eastern shore of the Red Sea having just crossed between the 900 foot deep cavernous walls of water heaped up by the breath of YAH which then collapsed on Pharaoh and his 250,000 man army killing every last one of them. Israel has been freed!!!

The first six days of the Feast of Unleavened Bread mark the beginning and the ending of the Exodus out of Egypt, in those six days Moses and Israel, approximately 3,000,000 strong, have trekked a course to freedom that has stretched somewhere around 200 miles long. For the duration of that six days, Moses and Israel ate nothing but unleavened bread and thus the command to commemorate the Exodus via The Feast of Unleavened Bread...

Lev 23:4 ‘These are the appointed times of יהוה, set-apart gatherings which you are to proclaim at their appointed times.

Lev 23:5 ‘In the first new moon, on the fourteenth day of the new moon, between the evenings, is the Pěsaḥ to יהוה.

Lev 23:6 ‘And on the fifteenth day of this new moon is the Festival of Matzot to יהוה – seven days you eat unleavened bread.

Lev 23:7 ‘On the first day you have a set-apart gathering, you do no servile work.

Lev 23:8 ‘And you shall bring an offering made by fire to יהוה for seven days. On the seventh day is a set-apart gathering, you do no servile work.’ ”

Imagine if you can, 3,000,000 people traveling 200 miles on foot in six days eating nothing but unleavened bread, truly it exceeds the imagination! Now safely gathered on the eastern shore of the Red Sea in Arabia Moses and the Israelites celebrate their new found freedom by singing The Song of Moses, 'The horse and its rider He has thrown into the sea!' As they continued to sing and dance and praise The Almighty for what He had done they continued to eat unleavened bread for the remainder of that day and that is why we're commanded to eat unleavened bread for seven days, ending at evening on the 21st, meaning a return to the normal diet begins the following morning.

It's a shame, but the reality we live in nonetheless, that the world has been deluded into ignoring the Appointed Times of YHWH. In the last 21 days the Scriptural New Year began with Rosh HaShanah or New Years Day, possibly the date of Messiah Yahusha's birth. The Scriptural New Year's Day came and went, but the world kept March 29th, a Monday, and mindlessly went to work instead.

Fourteen days later, the 14th Day of the 1st New Moon, came the Passover when the first born of subjected Israel in Egypt were spared death via the sacrifice of the Passover lambs and when Messiah Yahusha was crucified as The Passover Lamb of YAH sparing us all, but the world kept April 11th, a Sunday. Believers went to church that day, a day dedicated to the worship of the pagan Sun god on the pagan planetary god worship calendar also known as the Roman Catholic Church's Gregorian Calendar, every day of its week being dedicated to the worship of one of the host of heaven and hence the actual names of the week days of both the Julian and Gregorian Calendars, violating the command of YAH not to do so! It is a day Scripture commands us to remember, but the world forgot!

The following day, the 15th Day of the 1st New Moon was a High Sabbath, meaning a weekly Sabbath that an Annual Festival falls on every year. It was the 1st Day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread which marks the beginning of the Exodus out of Egypt, and that night is a night of watches (Exodus 12:42) meaning we should keep watch throughout the entire night... but why? Could there be a reason for doing that even today, or better yet, especially today? In some future year, possibly not long from now, Messiah Yahusha will call His Bride out of the world by sending messengers ahead of Him and draw His Bride out through the midst of the chaos of The Great Tribulation. I'm speaking of The Greater Exodus back to the Promised Land which I believe will begin in the evening on the 15th Day of the 1st New Moon according to Scripture, just as the first Exodus began! It might be a good idea to make it a practice to remain alert throughout the night and be full of the Ruach HaQodesh. What a shame it would be to miss The Greater Exodus because you were caught slumbering with the world around you which had to go to work the next day because they were keeping the day as Monday, April 12th and had to return to work the next day, there was no way for them to stay up all night! Today's world is made up of Babylonian slaves, puppets on strings and their Babylonian puppet masters demand they be prepared to work when they demand them to work.

For the last six days, I've eaten nothing but unleavened barley bread, I don't say that to set myself apart in some sort of braggadocios way, I say that to encourage you to do the same and in so doing set yourself apart from the world via the command of YAH. I've written an article based on some personal Scriptural insights that came my way a few years ago, all of which are purposed to help you experience the Feast of Unleavened Bread to its fullest, I think you'll be blessed if you take the time to read 'Insights Into The Exodus & The Feast Of Unleavened Bread'.

That brings me back to today, the 21st Day of the 1st New Moon, the 7th Day of the 7-day Festival of Unleavened Bread, which is the last day of the Spring Festivals of Yahuah. According to the pagan planetary god worship calendar of the Roman Catholic Church it's April 18th, it's Sun's Day and so-called believers are back in their Sunday Church again, totally oblivious to what today actually represents... the deliverance of Yahuah's people, to freedom!!!
